Sidewalk Arts

This past weekend I traveled up to Savannah on Saturday for the Savannah College of Arts and Design's Sidewalk Arts Festival. My friend Katie made the journey with me. We arrived in Savannah and went to Ginny's house, a friend of mine from my college days. I was able to see her baby and how big he has grown. Then we headed to the park. We were there for about 20 minutes when one of the spring thunder showers passed over and the sky fell out. We got soaked and a lot of the squares were ruined. I was sad that we didn't get to stay longer and see the finished products. Any way, here are a few of the pictures I took before it began to rain. It's amazing what these artist can do with sidewalk chalk.
